Governed by Universal Privacy Framework.
Also subject to the Diversified SaaS, Inc. Company-Specific Terms Supplement.
Governing document
The Universal Privacy Framework applies to Diversified Engage in full. The provisions below are the Diversified Engage supplement to it, and the more specific document controls where the two differ.
Our two roles
Diversified Engage is a communications platform. Where a customer uploads or imports contact information, collects messages through its website, or sends a campaign, the customer decides who is contacted and why, and Diversified SaaS, Inc. processes that information on the customer's behalf to provide the service.
For information collected directly through this website, account administration, billing, support, and security, Diversified SaaS, Inc. determines the purposes and methods of processing, as described in the Universal Privacy Framework.
Information Diversified SaaS, Inc. handles for itself
Website forms: name, email address, company name where provided, message content, and the referring page or campaign parameters where present.
Accounts: email address, name, account, role and permissions, invitations, sign-in and activation records, and password-reset requests.
Plans and billing: the plan an account uses and the billing details needed to provide it, where applicable.
Support: the messages you send us and our replies.
Security: IP address, browser and device information, and records of sign-ins and account actions, used to protect accounts and the service.
Information handled on a customer's behalf
Contacts and audiences: contact details, custom fields, audience membership, and imported lists a customer provides.
Website Messages: information people submit through a customer's website forms or that a customer's server sends through the Developer API, such as name, email address, phone number, the message, request details, and the page it came from.
Notifications: when a message arrives, Engage can email the recipients the customer configured, including fixed recipients, inbox recipients, a notification destination's primary recipient, and a hidden (BCC) copy where the customer turned one on. Engage keeps a record of each notification sent. If the person submitting the form asks for a copy, Engage sends one and keeps a record of it.
Campaigns: the content a customer creates, its recipients, and sending and delivery records.
Integrations: the configuration needed to connect a customer's website or other services.
Audit records: records of configuration changes and actions taken in the account.
If you received an email sent through Diversified Engage
The business that sent you the message decides who it contacts and what it says. That business is responsible for the message and for its relationship with you. Diversified SaaS, Inc. processes recipient information on that business's behalf in order to deliver the message and report on it.
Depending on which features the sender enabled and how the message is handled in transit, Engage may record delivery outcomes, bounces, complaints, unsubscribes, opens, clicks, browser views, and translation activity, along with the time and general device or browser information. Not every message records every one of these. Opens and clicks are recorded only where the sender turned tracking on and the receiving mail program allows it. Website Message notifications and visitor copies may record opens in the same way. Browser view and translation activity is recorded only when a recipient uses those links; the translation link opens the message through Google's translation service, which receives the page to translate it.
Unsubscribing or using Report spam is used to suppress future sending to you.
Questions about the content of a message, or about why you were contacted, should go to the business that sent it. Questions about how the platform itself processes information may be directed to us using the contact details on this page.
Service providers
We use service providers to host the platform, store its data, and send email. They act on our instructions and for no other purpose. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising.
Cookies and similar technologies
The website and product use only strictly necessary and functional technologies. See the Diversified Engage Cookie Policy.
Retention
How long records are kept, and which records cannot be deleted immediately, is described in the Diversified Engage Data Retention and Deletion document.
Consent and withdrawal
Where consent is the basis for contacting you about Diversified Engage, you provide it when you submit a form on this website. You may withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any message we send or by contacting us.
Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, and you may ask us to stop contacting you. Where information was entered by a customer about you, contact that customer first; we will provide reasonable assistance where appropriate and legally required. California residents have the additional rights described below.
California privacy supplement
This section applies to people who live in California. It adds to the Privacy Policy above and does not replace it. Where this section and the rest of the policy differ, this section controls for California residents.
Our two roles. When you give us information directly, through a form on this website, through your account, or when you contact support, Diversified SaaS, Inc. decides why that information is collected and how it is used. When a customer of Diversified Engage uploads or imports contact information, collects messages through its website, or sends a campaign, that customer decides who is contacted and why, and Diversified SaaS, Inc. handles the information on that customer's behalf and under that customer's instructions.
Categories of information. Identifiers such as name, email address, phone number where provided, company name, and IP address; account information such as role and sign-in records; commercial and service records such as plan and support history; internet or network activity such as delivery events, opens, clicks, browser views, translation activity, and device and browser details; and the content of website messages and campaigns. The sources and purposes are described in the Privacy Policy above.
Who we disclose it to. We disclose information to the service providers that operate parts of the platform for us, including hosting, database, and email sending providers, and to others where the law requires it or where it is necessary to protect the service, our customers, or third parties. Service providers act on our instructions and for no other purpose.
Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information, we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use it for targeted advertising. The Diversified Engage website and product do not use advertising, retargeting, or analytics technologies that would do so. For that reason there is no sale or sharing to opt out of, and no separate opt-out link is provided. If that changes, this policy and the website will be updated before the change takes effect. We also do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
Your rights. Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, the categories of sources, the purposes, and the categories of recipients; to give you a copy in a portable form; to correct it; to delete it; and to stop contacting you. If we decline a request, we will explain why, and you may ask us to reconsider by replying to our decision. We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or provide a different quality of service because you made a request.
How to make a request. Write to CustomerService@DiversifiedEngage.com, or call or message us on WhatsApp at +1 (833) 990-7297. Please say that your request concerns Diversified Engage. We will ask for enough information to confirm who you are and to find your records, and we will use that information only to answer the request. An authorized agent may make a request on your behalf if the agent provides written permission from you and we are able to confirm it.
If your information was entered by one of our customers. If a business uploaded your information into its Diversified Engage account or received your message through its website, that business decides what it holds and why. Please contact that business first. We will give that business reasonable help with your request where it is appropriate and legally required, and we will pass your request on where we are able to identify the account.
Unsubscribing. You may stop marketing email from any sender at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the message. We use that request to stop future sending to your address.
